Multiplying Hope

Multiplying Hope walks alongside churches, ministries, and organisations working with communities affected by trauma. It provides training, resources, and coaching in basic mental health and trauma-healing skills, enabling local communities to become safe, supportive places where healing and hope can begin.

Around the world, people are living with the effects of conflict, displacement, violence, and loss. Trauma often becomes a significant barrier to community health, discipleship, and engagement with God’s Word. Multiplying Hope exists to address this challenge in contexts where professional mental health support is limited or unavailable.

Rather than replacing counselling, Multiplying Hope equips lay leaders with practical, trauma-informed tools rooted in faith, community, and storytelling. Its resources create spaces where people can engage with Scripture, share experiences, and heal together in emotionally healthy community.

Since its beginnings in 2016, Multiplying Hope has trained over 4,000 facilitators and supported healing groups in diverse contexts worldwide. Through its work, individuals and communities are discovering renewed hope, deeper engagement with God’s Word, and the foundations for healthy, multiplying churches.

Word Collective UK is seeking to raise funds to support and extend the work of Multiplying Hope, enabling more churches and communities to respond faithfully and wisely to trauma.
